7 Ways To Avoid Suspending Your Google My Business

Google My Business Errors and reports are quite common. But more businesses are finding a small error is now leading to potential suspension. Yet we all make mistakes in life. We all need to learn from them. Google My Business has seemingly up set many people in the past as they will often suspend a business account and yet they give very little reason for doing so. You may of experienced that yourself.

When Google My Business errors occur, then it gets reported, then Google approach the owner of the business listing and then the owners approach me after watching one of my videos, they are almost always in tears. Saying Google have suspended them, but given no reason. Yet when you drill down into it with them, their is very often a good reason for the warning before a suspension.

What Google My Business Quality Control team have masterfully done by not giving detail away and not telling the owner where the issue is. By keeping it as a broad with the advice being well “read our policy, you have broken the guidelines” This means that business owners are now scrambling around trying to scratch there heads as to what might of upset Google My Business and probably clean up more issues than Google was aware of before asking for a reevaluation.

So keep it positive if things go wrong. Most the time Google My Business team will give you a “Get out of jail free card” before a suspension if things go wrong.

But most business owners just want to know where is the mistakes. Why has a genuine error been given such a harsh sentence. Today’s video is to try and help you identify where that error could be.

Everyone should be entitled to learn from their mistakes and have another chance. As Albert Einstein once said “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”

1. Avoid Spammy Company Names. Just keep the title real and consistent with your registered company name.

2. Avoid listing your business in more than one location listing unless of course you do have separate offices, then its fine. What you can do to cover a more broad range is to choose surrounding areas and cities by registering as a service (SEE VIDEO

3. Avoid writing posts with keyword stuffing, but do update your posts at least once every seven days.

4. Avoid using photos that don’t belong to you. Google reads photos like you read a book. So using others photos or using copyrighted images will not go down well.

5. Don’t ask for fake reviews. Google checks reviews and often can spot spam. Its just not worth taking the chance if you have an honest business. So avoid incentives to avoid suspension. Reviews do not have a massive impact on your overall rating in the map pack. It helps but its not the only reason businesses are ranked.

6. Relevant categories are really important. Make sure you choose only the most relevant. So keep an eye on the list of categories. They are often updated. After choosing your prime category, add a couple of sub categories, but only if they are a service or product you offer.

7. Avoid inconsistent listings. Your Name , Address and Phone number is very important to Google. What it sees from other listings helps Google decide how relevant your business is to the local community.

Let’s talk about how to get rid of skin tags and warts fast. Skin tags and warts are indicators of something deeper going on.

Skin tags are the result of an anabolic response—they are a growth of cells, like mini benign tumors.

There is a high association between skin tags and warts and HPV. Skin tags are more common in women and in people who have diabetes, PCOS, or who are overweight.

Insulin resistance is related to diabetes, obesity, and PCOS. One study demonstrated a strong association between skin tags and insulin resistance.

To get to the root problem of skin tags and to make sure they don’t come back after you get rid of them, you need to take steps to improve your insulin resistance and, potentially, estrogen dominance. This means getting on the Healthy Keto diet and doing intermittent fasting.

The best natural remedy for skin tags and warts:
• Mix two drops of povidone-iodine with a couple of drops of garlic juice. If you don’t want to use garlic, you could try using zinc oxide, oregano oil, or apple cider vinegar.

• Using a cotton swab, put the mixture directly on the skin tag or wart, and then put a bandaid or tape over it.

• Keep the mixture in the refrigerator to keep it fresh, and apply the remedy twice a day for up to two weeks. Make a new, fresh mixture each day.

If you don’t see any changes, try using one of these remedies topically and cover it with a bandaid or tape:
• Salicylic acid
• A crushed aspirin in water
• Celandine

Seven tips for selecting a performance marketing agency. I’ve been in the marketing world for over 20 years now, specifically performance marketing, also known as digital marketing. I know they’re a little bit different but still performance marketing, digital marketing, a lot of overlapping there. And one way to get your marketing done is to hire a agency. If you make the right choice, you’ll grow, you’ll thrive and you’ll succeed. If you make the wrong choice, you’ll waste time, money and get little to no results. So how do you ensure that you are going to pick the right agency? Here are some tips to help you.


Tip number one, look for agencies that win awards. We actually have dozens of awards, even though we’ve only been around for five years. Agencies get awards for the work that they produce for their clients and it’s also based on the results that that work provides. So if a agency doesn’t have awards it’s harder for them to prove that they were good at what they are claiming to be good at.

The reason I like looking to see what agencies have awards is because the judges for these awards are typically other markers who are really good at what they do. So it’s not easy to get them.

Tip number two, does the agency have industry experience? If you want to hire a plastic surgeon to adjust your nose would you hire one that specializes in plastic surgery for ears or noses? Of course you would hire the one that specialize in noses because that’s what you’re looking for. So why would you hire a marketing agency that doesn’t have experience in your industry or for the marketing types of services that you’re looking for? It’s like hiring an ear doctor to help you with your nose. It just doesn’t make any sense.

Tip number three, ask for references. If someone gives you references the chances are the references are going to be great. But if you ask for references and someone doesn’t have any it means that they don’t probably have that many happy clients.

Tip number four, look who’s working on your account. As you may know, my name is Neil Patel and I’ve been a marketer for over 20 years and I think I’m good at what I do even though I still have a lot more to learn and I can continually get better and improve. But if you hire my agency, NP Digital, because of me, that’s a big mistake. You should be hiring my agency or any other agency based on the team that is working on your account.

Tip number five, the size and age of a company. If an agency has been around for a long time, great. If an agency has been around for a long time and they’re small, that’s bad. The reason most agencies are small is because they aren’t amazing at what they do. See, most agencies grow through word of mouth and referrals. As you do good work, you get more referrals. So look to make sure the agency you are working with has been around for at least three or four years and is continually growing. If they’re not growing that usually means their clients aren’t giving them tons of referrals because they’re not happy with the work.

Tip number six, account managers. For some reason some agencies just don’t assign dedicated account managers. You need to have someone dedicated to your account that you can talk to whenever you want. That person may also work on a few other accounts based on how much you’re paying that agency but a dedicated account manager is ideal. If you don’t have a big budget you may not even get a semi dedicated account manager but that’s what you should eventually strive for. You’ll find that when someone internally at the agency is fighting for you and they’re fighting for you to have more resources and get the best results and making sure that everything that they’re doing is for your best benefit, you typically get better results.

Tip number seven, how many services do they offer? The sad reality of digital marketing is you need to take advantage of an omnichannel approach. That means Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, Amazon, Walmart and whatever other platform is out there, even BeReal. You have to be on all the channels that make sense for your business.

You know there used to be or at least it would seem that there was a slight benefit to adding these my maps onto the website you know make even my map Stacks or different types of stacks what has been definitely more effective now is actually embedding the driving map from said town or location to the business or even creating a driving route that way.

However the only benefit I could see from having a my map is that it might actually help a customer but it’s not an SEO benefit by any stretch of the imagination anything that you control Google demotes I hope this helps you out.
